| This striking ring was inspired by a beautiful Tourmaline and the dramatic architecture of the Art Deco era. The Tourmaline is a squared pyramid rising above a white gold bezel setting. Beneath the setting are dentil moldings and dramatic winged volutes. The ring is crafted in 18kt white and yellow gold. |

 The tourmaline is a rich dark green reminiscent of a deep forest pierced by occasional flashes of sunlight. The dramatic shape of the tourmaline is sometimes referred to as a sugarloaf cut. We crafted the body of this ring in 18kt yellow gold, polished to a mirror-like finish. For the tourmaline, a white gold bezel setting with architectural details was inlaid within the shoulders of the ring. A dramatic beveled edge along the body of the yellow gold band rises up towards two corners of the tourmaline in simple harmony.
 One of the hallmarks of Art Deco design is a sense of motion and speed. The dramatic profile of the ring and gemstone combined with the winged volutes and bold contrast between the white and yellow gold creates the illusion that this ring is about to lift off and soar upward. |
 Note the thickness of the 18kt yellow gold band and the sturdiness of the bezel setting. When creating a ring that will last a lifetime, you should never skimp on the small details. The inside of the ring is as beautifully crafted as the top. Note the smooth, even cut-out beneath the Tourmaline, and the smooth inner surfaces. |
