Whiplash Vines!
Art Nouveau cufflinks of entangled vines with whiplash curves and dramatic foliage.  A nice example of the striking, nature-inspired designs of the Art Nouveau era.  Crafted in 14kt gold, circa 1900.

The cufflinks are well constructed with "bean" backs.  The fronts are connected to the bean backs with sturdy split bridges strengthened by a small gold ball set at the split.  The inside of the bean backs are stamped "14K" for the purity of the gold and with an unknown maker's mark, a stylized Maltese cross.

Name:  Whiplash Vines!

Cost:  Although these elegant cufflinks have sold,  you will find many more fine cufflinks in the Antique Cufflink Gallery.

Measurements:  These 14kt gold cufflinks measure  3/4" by just over 1/2".  They weigh a total of 5.1 grams.
