Vibrant Citrine Stickpin

Hans Brassler citrine stickpin. (J9377)

Citrine Embers

A vibrant citrine glows like a fiery ember with rich orange and honey tones.  The gemstone rests in a distinctive gold frame reminiscent of the Arts & Crafts style and early Art Deco.  Created by Hans Brassler in 14kt gold, circa 1910.

Hans Brassler was a gifted jewelry designer who created wonderful stickpins and other jewels that are best described as miniature works of sculpture.  He found inspiration in nature, fantasy and distant cultures to create wonderfully imaginative jewels in the Art Nouveau and Art Deco styles.

This stickpin is beautifully crafted with a strong gold pin stem and sturdy frame to cradle the citrine.  The maker's mark of The Brassler Company, a double oval surrounding "14B" is stamped on the lower reverse beneath the pin stem (see photo below).

Cost:  Although this elegant stickpin has sold,  you will find many more beautiful stickpins in the Antique Stickpin Gallery.

Measurements:  This 14kt gold stickpin is just under 2 3/4" long and the top measures 3/4" by  just over 9/16".  It weighs 3.1 grams.
