Brassler Moonstone!

A luminous moonstone shimmers in a rich gold frame with a Greek key design.  The archaic style of the goldwork gives the jewel a mysterious ancient feel.  Crafted in 14kt gold,  circa 1910

This stickpin was created by Hans Brassler in the early 1900s.  Brassler was an innovative jeweler known for his imaginative, artistic designs.  At the 1900 Exposition Universelle in Paris he won a gold medal for his creations.

Brassler's work is characterized by beautiful gemstones and rich, sculptural gold work.  The maker's mark for The Brassler Company, a "14" followed by a "B" in an oval, is stamped on the pin.

Cost:  Although this elegant stickpin has sold,  you will find many more beautiful stickpins in the Antique Stickpin Gallery.

Measurements:  This 14kt gold stickpin is just over 2 1/2" long and weighs 1.5 grams.  The circular top is  3/8" in diameter.
