During the first half of the last century Carrington & Company was renowned for creating elegant cufflinks. These wonderful cufflinks feature luminous mother-of-pearl centers surrounded by borders of stylized laurel leaves. Crafted in 14kt white and yellow gold, circa 1925.
 As with all fine jewels, you should examine cufflinks closely from every direction. The backs of these cufflinks are crafted in 14kt yellow gold and polished to a mirror-like finish (please excuse the reflections of our camera). You can see the maker's attention to detail in the sturdy brackets and cross bars that secure the links.
 The maker's mark of Carrington & Company is a "C" surrounding "14". Carrington & Company was a maker of fine cufflinks, dress sets and lockets from 1900 to about 1950. The firm supplied beautiful 14kt and 18kt gold cufflinks to many of the finest jewelers of the day. Name: Carrington Mother of Pearl!
