A hallmark of Art Deco design was vibrant, bold color.  These colorful cufflinks feature Chalcedony cabochons treated to create a vivid, translucent Jade-like green.  Chalcedony is a fine grained variety of quartz that polishes to a beautiful vitreous luster (please excuse the ghostly reflections of our camera).  Crafted in 14kt yellow gold, circa 1930.

Cufflinks, like all fine jewels, should be closely inspected from every direction.  The closed backs of these cufflinks are beautifully crafted in brightly polished 14kt yellow gold.  The closed backs help protect the bezel-set gemstones.
