Custom Emerald and Diamond Ring

1.6-carat emerald set with round brilliant-cut diamonds in a custom platinum ring.

Emerald Tingle!
An intoxicating bluish-Green emerald set in a custom-created ring.  The emerald is bezel set and accented with six brilliant diamonds channel-set along the shoulders of the ring.  The ring is hand-crafted in platinum

The shoulders of the ring are softly rounded and the diamond-set channels taper to a gentle point.  The softly rounded contour of the band continues throughout its circumference.  The ring is brightly finished with a mirror-like sheen.

The design of the ring is a study in contrasts.  The shape and color of the emerald offer a striking contrast to the soft curves and cool tone of the hand-crafted platinum setting and band.

The walls of the bezel setting are thick and sturdy to protect the emerald and highlight its dramatic shape.  The band of the ring gently tapers towards the base,  creating an elegant design that is comfortable to wear.

The underside of the ring is brightly polished with symmetrical windows cut out beneath each gemstone.  At Bijoux Extraordinaire we believe that the small, hidden details on the underside of a ring are just as important as the visible elements on the top.

Measurements:
This ring is hand-crafted in platinum.  The emerald weighs 1.6 carats and measures approximately 7.5 by 7.0 millimeters.  The six round brilliant diamonds weigh a total of 0.08 carats.
