Gold and Platinum Cufflinks

Engraved antique platinum and gold cufflinks. (J6770)

Sophisticated Elegance!
Some of the most elegant cufflinks of the 1920s combined the warmth of antique gold with the coolness of platinum.  This wonderful pair has 14kt yellow gold borders and elegantly engraved platinum centers.

The cufflinks are beautifully crafted with sturdy cross bars and bracket mountings.  The backs are nicely finished with a smooth mirror-like polish.  The cufflinks weigh a total of 9.7 grams.

The back of each top is marked for platinum ("PLAT") and 14kt gold ("14K").  Between the precious metal marks is the maker's mark,  a navette shape enclosing letters or symbols (perhaps an "&" or a script "L").  We have not identified the maker.

Name:  Sophisticated Elegance!

Cost:  Although these elegant cufflinks have sold,  you will find many more fine cufflinks in the Antique Cufflink Gallery.

Measurements:  These platinum and 14kt yellow gold cufflinks are 5/8" long by 1/2" wide.  They weigh 9.7 grams.
