![]() Diamond and Blue Enamel Cufflinks![]() Keller Blue and Gold II! |
An amazing pair of Charles Keller cufflinks with blue enamel accents and sparkling diamonds. The navy blue enamel beautifully contrasts with the warm, rich tones of yellow gold. One side of each cufflink is set with a small sparkling diamond. Crafted in 14kt gold, circa 1920.
![]() The centers are intricately engraved with a leafy tangle of upward striving plants in front of a background of rippling waters. The foliate theme is repeated in the blue enamel and gold designs in each corner.
![]() The backs of the cufflinks are well crafted with sturdy cross bars and capped brackets. The brightly polished surfaces have a mirror-like finish (please excuse the shadowy reflections from my camera.).
![]() The maker's mark for Charles Keller & Company (a "C" surrounding "14" followed by "K") is stamped on the cross bars. Charles Keller was a maker of fine gold and platinum cufflinks from 1885 to about 1930. One specialty of the firm during the early 1900s were beautiful gold and blue enamel cufflinks.
