We created this custom engagement ring to showcase a magnificent Old European cut diamond. The beautiful diamond was cut during the late 1800s. The gems round profile, high crown and relatively large culet are characteristic of Old European cuts. There is nothing like the charm of an older cut diamond.
The 3-carat diamond is set in French double-prongs that form a sweeping criss-cross across each face of the ring. The ring is hand crafted in platinum. |

 Along the shoulders of the ring we set three sparkling round brilliant diamonds. The diamonds are graduated in size and bead set in beautifully milgrained channels. Beneath the graduated line of diamonds we hand engraved a flowing pattern of cascading foliage. We call this elegant style of engraving "Regal Elegance."
 We wanted to add a subtle touch of color to this elegant ring. So, along the sweeping prongs we set Fancy Pink diamonds. The pastel shade of the pink diamonds perfectly complements the sparkling white diamonds and coolness of the platinum ring. Beneath the pink diamonds we engraved a pattern of soaring wings and milgrained the edges of the band and prongs. |
 The cascades of engraved foliage flows around to the base of the ring and meet in a four-petal flower. Each engraver works in their own style and uses a unique signature mark to center the engraved design - in this case the small flower. The inside of the ring is as nicely finished as the top. The inner surfaces are smooth and evenly finished. The upward sweeping prongs are beautifully crafted with thick, sturdy walls. This custom ring was designed to last a lifetime. |

| This ring is hand crafted and hand engraved in platinum. The center Old European-cut diamond weighs 3 1/3 carats. The six round brilliant side diamonds weigh a total of 0.48 carats and are F color and VS1 clarity. Along the criss-crossing prongs of the ring forty-four natural Fancy Pink diamonds are set. These pink diamonds weigh a total of 0.35 carats. | ||
