Beautifully engraved golden sunbursts surrounded by bright gold borders with blue enamel accents. The marriage of antique gold and rich blue enamel adds to the regal elegance of these cufflinks. Crafted in 10kt gold, circa 1925.
![]() The cufflinks are well constructed with brightly polished gold backs, sturdy brackets and strong cross bars. The cross bars are stamped with the maker's mark for Ostby & Barton ("OB") and "10K" for the purity of the gold.
![]() Ostby & Barton was a maker of fine cufflinks and other jewels based in Providence, Rhode Island. Founded by Englehart Ostby and Nathan Barton in 1879, the firm remained in operation until the mid 20th century. At one time it was the largest manufacturer of rings in the world.
