Plum Sapphire and Diamonds

The gorgeous reddish purple color of the Plum Sapphire is nicely complemented by the fire of two trilliant-cut diamonds. This striking ring is handcrafted in platinum and based on our Engraved Elegance design.
 We chose the Plum Sapphire because of the beauty of its color and the elegance of its cut. The trilliant diamonds were carefully selected to match the beauty of the center stone. The Sapphire and diamonds create a wonderful trilogy of sparkling color and fire.
 One of the secrets to creating beautiful three-stone rings is to set the gemstones so that there is a smooth transition from gem to gem. You should not see any gaps or awkward transitions. You want the setting to reveal the beauty of the stones, while securely holding them.
 The ring is meticulously hand engraved with a classic chevron pattern. The engraved design flows along the outer surfaces of the ring and across the upper and lower galleries of the setting. For an additional touch of elegance, we milgrained the edges of the ring with a fine bead-like pattern.
 A fine jewel is not complete without the hallmark of the maker and precious metal marks. In this close up you can see the registered maker's mark for Bijoux Extraordinaire ("BEL") and the precious metal mark for platinum ("PLAT"). These marks are your assurance of exceptional craftsmanship and lasting beauty.

| The oval Plum Sapphire weighs 1.54 carats and measures approximately 7.5 millimeters by 5.5 millimeters. The two trilliant diamonds weigh a total of 0.34 carats. The diamonds are E color and VS2-SI1 clarity. This ring is a finger size 6 1/2 and can be resized to fit most fingers. | ||
