Elegant Gold and Enamel Cufflinks

TH oval gold and black enamel cufflinks. (J8607)

Black and Gold!

Elegant cufflinks with black enamel and gold borders.  The centers are decorated with a pattern of finely engraved parallel pinstripes.  The pinstripe motif rose in popularity with simpler, linear designs of the Art Deco period.  Crafted in 14kt gold,  circa 1925.

The backs of the cufflinks are as well crafted as the fronts.  Note the sturdy cross bars and brackets that secure the links and the mirror-like finish of the gold surfaces.

The cross bars show a "T" over "H" maker's mark.  This maker's mark has not been identified.  Beneath the maker's mark is the "14" for the purity of the gold.
