Elegant black and white cufflinks with the wintry appearance of frost growing on a window pane. The cufflinks feature richly engraved garlands surrounding stylized flower heads or snowflakes. The dramatic box-and-cross borders are accented with black enamel. Created by Wordley, Allsopp & Bliss in 14kt gold, circa 1925.
 The backs of the cufflinks are as beautifully crafted as the fronts. Note the sturdy cross bars and four-footed brackets that securely hold these links on the cuff. Wordley, Allsopp & Bliss created elegant cufflinks that were meant to remain securely on the cuff and to be passed down to future generations.
 The maker's mark of Wordley, Allsopp and Bliss ("WAB") is found on the cross bars. WAB was a maker of fine gold cufflinks and other jewels during the early decades of the last century. The opposite side of the cross bars are stamped "14K" for the purity of the gold.
