Platinum and Gold!
An elegant pair of platinum and gold cufflinks from the first decades of the last century.  The platinum tops of the cufflinks are beautifully chased and engraved.  Circa 1920

The backs and cross bars of the cufflinks are brightly polished 14kt yellow gold.  To the left you can see the precious metal marks  "PLAT ON 14K" stamped on the back of the links.  Remember, when considering a jewel always spend as much time examining the back,  as you do the front.  The best clues to a jewel's history and quality are often found on the back.
