Wedding bands, like engagement rings, are a symbol of togetherness and commitment. When we created a hand-engraved engagement ring and matching wedding band (pictured to the right) for a couple, they fell in love with the unique design and look of the rings. In fact they liked the design so much that they asked us to create a wedding band for him in the same style.

We began by hand creating a flat-edge band out of platinum. Then, the top surface and sides of the band were hand-engraved by a second artisan. Finally, the edges of the band were hand milgrained with a bead-like pattern to add an extra touch of sparkle. The result is a look of understated elegance that perfectly complements the engraved bridal set.
 From the inside, you can see the quality and care with which the band was created and engraved. An important test of fine hand engraving is that it should feel like fine silk when you pass your fingers over it. This custom band passed the test with high marks! |
