Custom Engraved Platinum Ring

The elegant geometry of an emerald-cut diamond, a bold design and beautifully hand-engraved scrolls combine to create a striking ring. The swirling pattern of the scrolls flow throughout the circumference of the ring.
This ring was custom created for couple who wanted a unique and personal ring to celebrate their love and life together.
 The emerald-cut diamond weighs approximately 1.5 carats and is set with four French double prongs. The double prongs securely hold the diamond while nicely complementing the beveled corners of the emerald cut. The deeply engraved scrolls appear to float and swirl across the upper surface of the ring. The ring was first created by our platinum smith with a smooth, flat-edge band. Then a master engraver meticulously hand-engraved the intricate scroll pattern and the milgrained edges.
 An engagement ring should capture the excitement of romance. When you custom create a jewel you can include hidden messages and special meanings. Along the sides of this ring, our clients asked us to set a yellow gold heart between two yellow gold infinity symbols. For them the meaning of these symbols is "true love forever!" Two other important symbols can be seen along the inside of the band - the maker's mark for Bijoux Extraordinaire ("BEL") and the precious metals mark ("PLAT") for the purity of the platinum. These marks are you assurance of quality in craftsmanship, design and materials.
 Like all fine jewels, the inside of this ring is beautifully polished and finished. The rectangular cut-out beneath the diamond is crisp, smooth and symmetrical. Note that the underside of the ring beneath the shoulders is slightly hollowed out to create a more comfortable fit on the wearer's finger. With all Bijoux jewels, we take the time to assure that the inside of the jewel is finished as nicely as the top.
