Regal Ruby |
A fiery red emerald-cut ruby is the heart of this custom
engagement ring. Accenting the ruby are two trilliant
diamonds burnish set in the shoulders of the band. The
ring is hand crafted in platinum and wonderfully hand engraved
with a beautiful flowing design. We work with some of the finest hand engravers. Each is a master of their art and works in a unique style. The engraver of this ring created a wonderful pattern that flows out from the trilliant diamonds like cascading foliage magically frozen in time. The hand-engraved pattern is interspersed with several four-petal flowers. We call this elegant style of engraving "Regal." We have also created Red Spinel and Lavender Spinel rings featuring this beautiful engraved design.  The ruby is set with four platinum prongs that taper gracefully from top to bottom. The upper and lower gallery of the setting are neatly engraved continuing design along the ring's band. For an added touch of elegance we milgrained the edges of the band and setting.
Note the thickness of the ring's band and the strength of the setting. This ring was crafted to last a lifetime and become a family heirloom that will be enjoyed by future generations. |

 Examining the inside of the ring you can see the care with which it was crafted. The band is thick and sturdy offering protection to the gemstones and the engraved sides of the ring. The undercarriage is symmetrical and the inner surfaces smooth and even. The sign of a master jeweler is the attention they pay to the small details and often unseen elements of a jewel. |

 We also created a contoured wedding band to complement this engagement ring. The band has a cut-out that follows the shape of the emerald-cut ruby and is beautifully engraved to match the ring. |
