A striking white gold filigree ring with a sapphire and two sparkling diamonds. Created during the 1920s, this elegant ring combines elements of the Edwardian and Art Deco eras. The intricate filigree work and engraving are characteristic of Edwardian jewels, while the settings around the gemstones reflects the bolder geometry of Art Deco design.
When we acquired this ring it needed a little tender loving care. The original gemstones were abraded and of poor quality. They had also become loose in their settings. So, we selected a rich blue sapphire and two sparkling diamonds complement the style of the ring. A master goldsmith then restored the settings and set the new gemstones. |
