Sapphire and Pavé-set Diamonds

A platinum ring pave set with dazzling brilliant diamonds shimmering like twinkling stars on a mid-summer's night. The center stone is a rich blue sapphire. Outward from the sapphire, six rays of a star radiate towards the corners of the hexagonal top.
 Each ray of the star is set with a sparkling diamond. The rays and the edges of the hexagonal top are expertly milgrained giving the ring an antique look. The tiny bead-like effect of the milgraining is reminiscent of the elegant jewels of the Edwardian (1900 - 1920) and the Art Deco (1920 - 1940) eras.
 Sparkling diamonds cascade down the sides of the ring. Each diamond is set in a milgrained chevron-like compartment. A total of seven diamonds are set on each side of the ring.
 Beneath the diamond encrusted top, graceful 18kt yellow gold scrolls are set in the pierced sides of the under gallery. Also note the thick, sturdy construction of the ring that ensures many years of enjoyment and wear.
 As with all fine jewels, the underside of this ring is as nicely finished as the top. The surfaces are smooth and beautifully finished. The edges are crisp and well defined. Attention to the small details is the hallmark of a fine jewel.

| This ring is crafted in platinum. The sapphire weighs 1.3 carats and is 5.9 millimeters in diameter. There are a total of 26 diamonds bead set in the ring. The 26 diamonds weigh a total of 0.38 carats. The ring is finger size 6 1/2 and can be resized to fit most fingers. | ||
