We chose this free form titanium-coated drusy for it's vibrant colors and the dramatic look our cutter created with the inner compartment of nodules covered with drusy crystals.
Drusy is a layer of minute quartz crystals that have crystallized on the surface of another gemstone or mineral. Drusy quartz is basically minute crystals on colorless quartz or white chalcedony quartz. Titania drusy is drusy chalcedony or agate that has been coated with titanium and treated with electrical current to induce vivid, jewel tones.

Designer Notes:
This spectacular free form shaped titania drusy is best suited for a pendant or necklace. The gem can be set in a full bezel or a partial bezel with an attached chain and other decorative elements......or designed as a slide pendant to be worn on your favorite omega chain.

The pendant features an amethyst, two blue-green tourmalines and a titanium-coated drusy with shades of purple and magenta. The pendant is suspended from an 18kt gold omega necklace.
