Hand Engraved Platinum Ring

A striking hand-engraved platinum ring with a 1.34-carat cushion-cut sapphire and two trilliant-cut diamonds. We call this style of engraved ring "Engraved Elegance."
We chose the cushion-cut sapphire because of the beauty of its color and crispness of its cutting. The sapphire is complemented by the brilliance of the diamonds and the coolness of the platinum. The trilliant diamonds were carefully selected for color (D-E) and clarity (VS2), so that they match the beauty of the sapphire and create a wonderful display of gems.
 From the top of the ring you can see that the gemstones are set in an even, balanced arrangement. One of the secrets to creating beautiful three-stone rings is to set the gems so that there is a smooth transition from gemstone to gemstone. You should not see any gaps between the gems. The setting should reveal the beauty of the stones, while securely holding them in place.
 The platinum band of the ring, as well as the cross rungs of the setting, are hand engraved. Hand engraving a ring like this requires an artist's eye for detail, a steady hand and up to several days on the jeweler's bench. Meticulously hand-engraving a ring like this can be tiring work. To add just a little more elegance, the edges of the band and cross rungs are hand milgrained with a delicate bead-like pattern.
 Viewing the inside of the ring, you can see the symmetry of the design and the care with which the ring was hand crafted. The underside of the ring is smooth and even with crisp symmetrical edges and a beautiful polish. Also note the thickness of the band throughout its circumference. All signs of a master craftsman who took great care and pride in creating this ring.
 A fine jewel is not complete without the registered hallmark of the maker and precious metal marks. In this close up you can see the maker's mark for Bijoux Extraordinaire ("BEL") your assurance of quality in design, craftsmanship and materials. The precious metal mark for platinum ("PLAT") is stamped on the opposite side of the band.

| The cushion-cut sapphire weighs 1.34 carats and measures approximately 6.9 millimeters by 5.6 millimeters. The two trilliant diamonds weigh a total of 0.32 carats. The diamonds are D-E color and VS2 clarity. This ring is for a finger size 6 and can be resized to fit most fingers. | ||
