Oval Diamond set with Princess Cuts

| The dazzle and sparkle of this striking ring is
sure to turn heads! This custom ring is set with a
2.3 carat oval diamond resting between two rows of sparkling
princess-cut diamonds. The result is a continuous field of
dazzling beauty.
The oval diamond is set in an 18kt yellow gold half bezel. From the open sides of the bezel sixteen princess-cut diamonds cascade down the shoulders of the ring. The princess cuts are invisibly set, an exacting technique developed by Van Cleef & Arpels and Cartier in the 1930s. With invisible setting the brilliance of the diamonds is not interrupted by metal appearing between the stones.

 The polished yellow gold surfaces of the ring beautifully complement the sparkle of the diamonds. Note the perfect alignment of the princess-cut diamonds and the thickness of the channel walls that protect them. The body of the ring was custom cast and the bezel setting handcrafted to assure a perfect fit for the oval diamond.  From the side you can see the high shoulders of the ring which complement the shape of the bezel setting and accommodate the channel settings holding the princess-cut diamonds. The sides of the ring are brightly finished with rounded edges. The gradual taper of the thickness of the band towards the base allows a more comfortable fit on your finger. |
 Inside the ring you can see that the inner surfaces are as finely finished as the outer, a sign of superior craftsmanship. You also see the intricate lattice of 18kt gold that secures the princess cut diamonds. |
