The cool elegance of a rich violet sapphire and two
sparkling trilliant diamonds are the focus of this handcrafted
platinum ring. The cushion-shape sapphire is bezel set and
the trilliant diamonds are burnish set in the shoulders of the
ring.

| This ring is a slightly smaller version of our Horizontal Blue design. The smooth, high polish of the platinum presents a stunning, mirror-like backdrop to the colors and brilliance of the gemstones. The ring can also be created with a satin finish for a softer look.  From the side of the ring you can see the thickness of the band as it tapers towards the base. The quality and thickness of the band ensures lasting beauty and years of enjoyment. We create our rings so that they last not just a lifetime, but several generations .... you can enjoy your ring while it becomes a family heirloom. |

 Examining the inside of the ring you can see the sturdy bezel walls that protect the sapphire. Also note the smooth, symmetrical cut-outs beneath the gemstones, and the seamless transition from the settings to the band. Our platinum smith polished the underside of the ring to the same mirror-like finish as the top. The true sign of a master craftsman is that she finishes the hidden parts of a ring with the same care as the visible. |

 As with all our jewels, this ring displays Bijoux Extraordinaire's registered hallmark ("BEL"). The precious metal mark for platinum ("PLAT") is placed on the opposite side of the band. These hallmarks are your assurance of quality, superior craftsmanship and beauty.  If you choose this ring as an engagement ring, a complementing wedding band can be created. The wedding band would be contoured to gently flow around the bezel-set sapphire when the two rings are worn together. | The cushion-shape sapphire measures 7.6 x 5.5 millimeters and weighs 1.57 carats. The two trilliant-cut diamonds weigh a total of 0.15 carats. They are D color and VS1 clarity. The ring is finger size 6 1/2 and can be resized to fit most fingers. | ||
