| We call this ring "Sapphire Hidden
Treasures," because just beneath the rich blue sapphire
two small diamonds and golden circlets are secreted in the
setting. We like to create rings with special accents and
hidden meanings!
The round brilliant-cut sapphire is a rich blue and weighs 1.71 carats. It is set in graceful double prongs that elegantly taper toward the base of the mounting. The shoulders of the ring are gently scalloped to create a flowing surface that sweeps upward to meet the sapphire. This ring was expertly hand crafted in platinum and 18kt yellow gold. |

 This shoulder view shows the striking design of the ring. The scalloped shoulders dramatically sweep upward and narrow as they rise to meet the sapphire. For an added touch of elegance, the edges of the shoulders and galleries are milgrained to create a bead-like pattern.  From the side you can see the "hidden treasures." Beneath the blue sapphire small brilliant diamonds are set. There are two diamonds - one on each side of the ring set between the upper and lower galleries. The white brilliance of the diamonds is the perfect counterpoint to the rich blue of the sapphire and the cool elegance of the platinum. To either side of the diamonds, beneath the shoulders of the ring, small circlets of 18kt yellow gold are set. These golden circles continue through to the other side of the ring like secret passageways. It is these little details, the small secrets and hidden treasures, that make this beautiful ring unique!  Creating a beautiful jewel that is sturdily constructed is the true test of a jeweler's artistry and skill. Here you can see how carefully the underside of this ring has been crafted. Note the sturdy setting that cradles the sapphire, the smooth finish of the inner surfaces, and the crisp even edges along the band. The underside of this ring is as beautifully finished as the top. |

| The rich blue sapphire is a round brilliant cut that weighs 1.71 carats. The small diamonds set beneath the sapphire are 2 millimeters in diameter and weigh a total of 0.06 carats. The diamonds are F - G color and VS clarity. The ring is finger size 6 1/2, but can be resized to fit most fingers. | ||
