Victorian Onyx and Rose Gold BroochLily of the Valley! |
An elegant Victorian brooch with a flowing spray of Lilies of the Valley crafted in rose gold and set with small pearls. During the Victorian era, Lilies of the Valley were a symbol sweetness, humility and the return to happiness. Crafted in onyx and 14kt gold, circa 1870.
As with all fine jewels, the back of this brooch is as nicely finished as the front. The brooch is secured with a sturdy pin stem and catch. A collapsible bail in the rear center of the brooch allows a pendant or small watch to be suspended. The metal purity mark "14k" is stamped just above the bail.
