Emerald-cut Sapphire Platinum Ring

The striking Sapphire is set with four tapered platinum prongs.  The prongs have angled heads that echo the sharp points of the triangle-shape diamonds.  Our platinum smith is a talented artist who pays close attention to the details of a design.

The Sapphire is a classic emerald cut with nicely beveled corners.  It weighs  3.96 carats and measures 10.7 millimeters long by 6.0 millimeters wide.

The trilliant diamonds are set in three-prong platinum settings with brightly polished galleries.  The outer prongs flow out of the sculpted shoulders of the ring.  The trick to creating an extraordinary ring is making sure that the gemstones and the design perfectly complement each other.

A fine jewel should always be closely examined from beneath.  Here you can see the sturdy under-gallery that securely holds and protects the Sapphire and diamonds.  Note that the inner surfaces are smoothly polished and the edges crisp and even.

As with all the jewels we create,  this ring displays the Bijoux Extraordinaire registered hallmark, "BEL", and the precious metal stamp, "PLAT," for the purity of the platinum (on the opposite side of the inner band).  These marks are your assurance of exceptional craftsmanship and lasting beauty.
