Pretty in Pink with Diamonds!

A pair of matching handcrafted wedding bands featuring rare pink diamonds set in cool platinum. Pink diamonds are quite rare, especially in this purplish shade. The diamonds set in these bands are from the Argyle mines of western Australia. Diamonds of this color and quality are so rare that many jewelers and stone dealers have never seen one first hand.

Each band was carefully fashioned with a half-round, domed top and a beveled inner surface. This beveled inner surface, also known as a "comfort fit," offers a more comfortable fit of the band on your finger ..... an important consideration when you are wearing a thicker band.

	Measurements:
		The larger band measures 4.8 millimeters wide, 2.0 millimeters thick and showcases 0.13 carat fancy intense pink diamond. The smaller band is 4.2 millimeters wide and 2.0 millimeters thick with a 0.08 carat pink diamond.


	This inside view shows the contoured, smooth design which creates the "comfort fit" of the bands. Also note how the pink diamonds are set flush in the domed tops of the bands. This allows the smooth surface of the band to flow along its entire circumference - not interrupted, but complemented by the single or several gemstones of your choice.

The couple, Rodd and Thao, with whom we created these rings just loved them. Here is what they had to say:

Judi was careful to clearly understand the wedding rings Thao and I wanted to wear for the rest of our lives. We wanted a Tiffany-style band in platinum with small diamonds set flush with the surface of the ring. But we wanted only one diamond. And we wanted the diamonds to be special: blue or pink would be nice. (Once again no other jewelers could locate such diamonds.) And please put my name inside her ring and her name engraved on the inside of my ring. Platinum of course.
Well we got our rings and they fit perfectly. Thao was beyond thrilled and today I can say that everything, yes everything about Judi, her business, her products, her artistic ability, her knowledge, her fairness and her commitment, is well above and beyond the call of duty.

Rodd and Thao chose pink diamonds and platinum to create their bands. There are a variety of precious metals and beautiful gemstones that you can choose from. Perhaps 18kt gold in one of its many flavors (rose, pink, yellow or white), or maybe platinum combined with pink or yellow gold in shiny or matte finishes. Of course, the width and thickness of the bands can be adjusted to fit your desires.
As for gemstones, there are many beautiful combinations of precious metals and gems that you may want to consider:
Platinum bands in bright or matte finishes: colorless diamonds, pink diamonds, sapphires, or rubies.
