We selected this fancy color sapphire because of it's lush bluish purple color and brilliant cutting.  This gorgeous gem has the distinction of being completely natural  -  it has not been heat treated.

Weight: 2.59 carats

Measurements: 7.55 to 7.68 mm in diameter
4.92 mm depth

Cut Style: round modified brilliant cut

Color: slightly bluish-Purple hue
dark tone
moderate saturation

Cost: Sold

Treatments: It is common practice for gem cutters to heat sapphires to improve color and appearance.  However,  we believe that this sapphire has not been heat treated.

This lush bluish-Violet sapphire can be worn as a pendant or ring.    It can be complemented with small diamonds....or...perhaps, yellow sapphires, tsavorite garnets or pink sapphires.
