Fiery Red Spinel and Diamond Ring

The Spinel is an intense fiery red that is perfectly complemented by the cool white of the platinum and the sparkling brilliance of the diamonds.

In our Platinum Promise rings the band is created by bringing together two platinum wires forming a double rib.  The inside of the band is polished smooth leaving the rounded contours of the two platinum wires visible.  The shoulders of the band narrow as they sweep upward towards the diamonds.  This creates an elegant band that is both graceful and sturdy.

From the side you can see that each gemstone is set securely with four sturdy platinum prongs in a double-rung setting.  The prongs sweep slightly outward and upward creating a cascading effect like the petals of an opening rose.

As a surprise we set two small round diamonds between the upper and lower cross rungs of the Red Spinel's setting.  These sparkling diamonds are an additional touch of elegance.  We call these hidden diamonds  "Hidden Treasures!"

A fine jewel is not complete without the registered hallmark of the maker and precious metal marks.  In this close up you can see the maker's mark for Bijoux Extraordinaire ("BEL").  The precious metal mark for platinum is stamped on the other side of the band.  These marks are your assurance of quality in materials, design and craftsmanship.

The inside of the ring is as beautifully crafted as the band and settings.  Note the smooth,  flowing bridgework beneath the Spinel and diamonds.  The inner surfaces of the ring are beautifully polished and the edges slightly rounded to create a comfortable fit.
