The ring we designed for this striking cushion-cut sapphire is a dramatic contrast of diamonds, platinum and open space. The rich blue sapphire is bezel set and supported by four platinum arches that rise up from the split shoulders of the ring. Along each platinum arch we bead-set a line of small brilliant diamonds.
The ring was hand crafted in platinum by a master jeweler. The design is reminiscent of a crystalline blue lake cascading into four sparkling streams.
 The sapphire weighs 2.84 carats and is a striking blue color. The platinum bezel setting highlights the sapphire's rich color and unusual shape.
 The sapphire is accented by 28 sparkling diamonds bead-set along the split shoulders. These diamonds were carefully matched in color, clarity and brilliance. They add a shimmering brilliance to the rich blue of the sapphire and the cool sheen of the platinum.
 From the side of the ring you can see the thickness of the band as it tapers gently towards the base. The quality of the craftsmanship and thickness of the band ensure lasting beauty and years of enjoyment. We made this ring to be an heirloom that will last not just a lifetime, but for several generations. |

 Examining the inside of the ring you can see the sturdy walls of the bezel that protect the sapphire. Our platinum smith polished the underside of the ring to the same mirror-like finish that graces the top. The true sign of a master craftsman is that he or she finishes the hidden parts of a jewel with the same care as the topside. |

| The cushion-cut sapphire weighs 2.84 carats and is 7.9 millimeters long by 7.6 millimeters wide. The 28 round brilliant-cut diamonds weigh a total of 0.42 carats. They are F - G color and VS1 - VS2 clarity. This ring is a finger size 6 1/2 and can be resized to fit most fingers. | ||
