| From the office to the boardroom to an evening cocktail
party "Tsavoire Faire" is graceful and appropriate for any
occasion. Taken from the French term "Savoir Fair"
(confident sureness) this ring fits in anywhere. The
handsome design features a shield-shaped Tsavorite Garnet bezel
set in a rich 18kt yellow gold collet that beautifully outlines
the dramatic shape of the gem.
The body of the ring is crafted in platinum and polished to a mirror-like finish. We channel set six round brilliant cut diamonds along each shoulder of the platinum band to contrast with the lush green hue of the Tsavorite Garnet and add a hint of sparkle to the ring.
 The ring was custom created for a woman who wanted a bold, unique design that was smooth and had a low profile to suit her active lifestyle. I first helped her select a vibrant green Tsavorite Garnet. This shield shaped garnet is beautifully cut and displays a stunning green hue reminiscent of lush rolling meadows and grassy fields in Ireland. Next, I matched up a brilliant line of round diamonds and worked with my platinumsmith to create a ring that embodied the look and feel my client wanted. The result is a handsome ring that thoroughly pleased the client beyond her expectations!
 I suggested an 18kt yellow gold bezel to bring out the warm hue of the Tsavorite Garnet and contrast with the cool look of the platinum. All of the design elements were brought together with skill and forethought.
 The ring was crafted by a master platinumsmith. Working with the design I developed with the client, the goal was to create a miniature work of art in platinum - a ring that would be the perfect fit for her lifestyle and the Tsavorite Garnet. When custom creating the ring we are able to assure that the design was beautifully executed and the gemstones perfectly set. Note the bezel setting that securely cradles the Tsavorite Garnet, the clean, dramatic lines of the design and the depth of the band throughout its circumference. This ring will surely pass the test of time.  Visualize this design with your favorite gemstone or diamond .... possibilities are limited only by your imagination. Perhaps a purple sapphire featured in the center, accented with orange or green garnets in the channel settings. The combinations are truly limitless. |

 Like all of our creations, the inside of this ring is as beautifully finished as the outside - a true sign of a master craftsman's attention to detail. Notice the thickness of the bezel walls, the seamless blending from platinum to yellow gold, and the crisp, symmetrical shape of the cut-out undergallery beneath the Tsavorite. |

| The Tsavorite Garnet featured in this ring weighs 0.57 carats and measures approximately 5.6 millimeters in length by 4.75 millimeters in width. The twelve smaller round brilliant cut diamonds weigh a total of 0.13 carats and measure 1.4 millimeters. | ||
