Classic,  elegant  half-hoop earrings with rich blue sapphires set in 18kt gold.  The sapphires are square step-cuts that have been matched for color and shape.  Each earring features five sapphires and the total weight of all ten sapphires is approximately 1.0 carat.

From the side,  you can see how well these earrings are crafted.  The sapphires are set in a sturdy thick channel that securely holds and protects the gemstones.  The posts of the earrings is slightly curved for a more comfortable fit and the hinged omega backs will snuggily support the earings against your ear lobes.  Fine jewelry should be as comfortable as it is beautiful!

Measurements:  These 18kt gold earrings are just over  0.5" in height.  The ten sapphires weigh approximately 1.0 carat in total.

Gemstone Note:  It is common practice for gem cutters to heat sapphires to improve the gem's color and appearance.  You should assume that a sapphire has been heat treated unless the seller specifically guarantees otherwise.  We believe that the sapphires set in these earrings have been heat treated.
