Rich blue lapis lazulis sparkle with small bits
of pyrite that glow like golden fireworks exploding in the night
sky. The lapis are set in elegant gold cufflinks created
by George O. Street & Sons in 14kt gold, circa 1920.![]() The cufflinks are as well crafted on the back as they are on the front. Note the sturdy design of the cross bars and brackets which secure the cufflinks on the cuff.
The backs are stamped with the maker's mark of George O. Street & Sons - an "S" in an oval followed by "14". George O. Street was a maker of fine cufflinks and other jewels from 1837 to about 1950. The firm was known for its exceptional craftsmanship, design and materials. ![]()
