Elegant Art Deco Cufflinks
| Bright blue sapphires set in etched
with intaglios of radiant stars carved on the reverse. The
striking effect is like a star shining through wispy clouds on a
bright moonlit night. Art Deco white gold borders
complete the design. Created by Krementz & Co. in 14kt
gold, circa 1925.
The backs of the cufflinks are finely crafted with 14kt yellow gold linkages and bezels. Note the depth and detail of the intaglio carving. Each star is meticulously carved and centered. Sturdy crossbars and brackets secure these cufflinks on the cuff.
The crossbars are stamped with the maker's mark of Krementz
Krementz & Co. was a maker of fine cufflinks and other jewels during the late Victorian era and for most of the 20th century. Founded in 1866 by George Krementz, the firm's longevity is a testament to the founder's passion for beautiful design, masterful craftsmanship and fine materials.
