Art Deco Cufflinks

Dramatic Art Deco black enamel cufflinks. (J9054)

Black and White!

Dramatic Art Deco cufflinks with striking black enamel borders and linearly engraved white gold centers.  A nice example of the elegant black-and-white cufflinks of the late 1920s and 1930s.  Crafted in 14kt gold,  circa 1930.

The backs of the cufflinks are as beautifully crafted as the fronts with the white gold polished to a mirror-like finish.  The darker areas are reflections from my camera.  Sturdy crossbars and tube brackets secure the links on the cuff.

The cross bars are stamped with the gold purity and maker's mark ("R14K") for Enos Richardson & Company (later Richardson Manufacturing Company).  The firm created fine cufflinks, jewelry and gentlemen's accessories from the 1840s to about 1950.
