Sapphire and Trilliant Diamonds

When we came across this beautiful Radiant-cut Sapphire, we immediately pictured of one of our Engraved Elegance rings. So we set the Sapphire with two trilliant-cut diamonds in this classic handcrafted, hand-engraved platinum ring.
 We chose the Radiant-cut Sapphire for the beauty of its color and its striking cut. The trilliant diamonds were carefully selected to match the beauty of the center stone. The Sapphire and diamonds create a wonderful trilogy of sparkling gems.
 One of the secrets to creating a beautiful three-stone ring is to set the gemstones so that there is a smooth transition from gem to gem. You should not see any gaps or awkward juxtapositions. You want the setting to reveal the beauty of the stones, while securely holding them. We hand build our Engraved Elegance rings so that we can precisely control the setting and layout of the gemstones.
 The ring is meticulously hand engraved with our classic chevron pattern. The engraved design flows along the outer surfaces of the ring and across the upper and lower galleries of the setting. For an additional touch of elegance, we milgrained the edges of the ring with a fine bead-like pattern.
 Viewing the inside of the ring, you can see the symmetry of the design and the care with which the ring was crafted. The surfaces are smooth and even with crisp symmetrical edges and a beautiful polish. Also note the thickness of the band throughout its circumference. All signs of the master craftsman who took great care and pride in creating this ring.
 A fine jewel is not complete without the hallmark of the maker and precious metal marks. In this close up you can see the registered maker's mark for Bijoux Extraordinaire ("BEL") and the precious metal mark for platinum ("PLAT"). These marks are your assurance of exceptional craftsmanship and lasting beauty.

| The Radiant-cut Sapphire weighs 1.08 carats and measures approximately 6.8 millimeters by 5.0 millimeters. The two trilliant diamonds weigh a total of 0.26 carats. The diamonds are D - E color and VS2 -SI1 clarity. This ring is for a finger size 6 1/2 and can be resized to fit most fingers. | ||
