Vintage Three-leaf Clover Stickpin Shamrock and Diamonds |
| A bright three-leaf clover glows as if lit by
shimmering moonlight. Each of the three leaves of the
shamrock is set with a trinity of small, sparkling
diamonds. Adding to the sparkle, the edges of the leaves
are finely milgrained. Created in 14kt white and yellow
gold circa 1925. The back and sides of the stickpin show the care and precision with which this jewel was crafted (see photos below). The diamonds are securely set in a white gold gallery that rests above a sturdy yellow gold frame. The back of the frame was left open to allow the passage of light. When worn on a lapel, scarf or tie this stickpin is securely held in place by a sturdy yellow gold pin stem.
