Art Deco Diamond Cufflinks
| Art Deco cufflinks with finely engraved,
quatrefoil centers raised on tiered sides. At the cusps
"epaulets" cascade downward and on one side a small diamond adds
to the jazzy elegance. Created by Taylor & Co. in 14kt
white and yellow gold, circa 1930.
The backs of these cufflinks are as finely designed and crafted as the fronts. Note the sturdy thickness of the edges and the strong brackets and cross bars that secure the cufflinks on the cuff. With a little care these cufflinks will survive the next one hundred years as beautifully as they did the past one hundred.
The cross bars are stamped with the maker's mark of Taylor & Company - a draftsman's T-square flanked by "14" and "K". Taylor & Company was founded by John N. Taylor in Newark, New Jersey in 1906 and created finely crafted, beautifully designed cufflinks and other jewels for about 30 years.
