A beautiful Art Deco watch with an enameled scene of a woman and several strategically placed doves. Although the scene may only aspire to high art, the richness and detail of the exquisite enameling are truly the work of a master craftsman.
The central image is surrounded by a border of rich blue enamel and a deeply engraved bezel. The case is crafted in 18kt gold and protects a 17 jewel movement made by the Swiss International Watch Company. This time piece is truly a wonderful example of Art Deco jewelry, circa 1925. Cost: Sold |

![]() The above photograph shows the 17-jewel movement from the International Watch Company. The watch is just as beautiful on the inside as it is on the outside! Although we enjoy this watch as a wonderful piece Art Deco of jewelry, its quality Swiss movement also keeps pretty good time. Below is a close-up of the assay and country marks stamped on the inside of the case. The "18K" and "0.750" marks indicate the purity of the gold. While the profile of the woman indicates that the case was made in Switzerland between 1893 to 1934.
