![]() Art Deco Diamond Cufflinks![]() Intricate Maze |
The intricate, maze-like design of these
cufflinks gives them a mesmerizing allure. A small diamond
is set on one side for an added touch of elegance. Created
by L. Fritzsche & Co in 14kt white gold circa 1925.
![]() The beauty of the design is matched by the precision of the craftsmanship. On the backs, note the sturdy crossbars and brackets which secure the cufflinks on the cuff, the clean, crisp edges and the mirror-like finish. (Please excuse the shadowy reflections from my camera.)
![]() The cross bars are stamped with the maker's mark of L. Fritzsche & Company (an "F" inside an banner-shape reserve) and a gold purity mark ("14K"). Lebrecht Fritzsche was a noted jewelry designer, engraver and craftsman who created elegant, finely engraved cufflinks during the early decades of the 20th century.
