Custom Diamond Engagement Ring |

A client desired a spectacular round diamond for his custom engagement ring. We worked as his diamond broker and sorted through many ideal-cut diamonds to present him with the best of the best. Through our search and evaluation, we found many gorgeous diamonds and, of course, one that truly popped ! The 1.54 carat diamond we found (pictured above) literally dances and sparkles in the light. It is absolutely scintillating! |

 Having found just the right diamond, the next step was to design and create a ring that would match the beauty of the stone. Our client wanted a ring that would be a classic, but with a little pizzazz. We crafted the ring in all platinum with a flat edge style of band. The feature diamond was set in four prongs that we polished with spear-head tips for dramatic flare.
 The ideal-cut diamond is cradled within four tapered prongs that gracefully rise up from the band of the ring. We crafted the prongs from half round wire that was polished with a tapered gauge from top to base. The challenge was to create a secure setting that would also allow a flush fit with a straight or non-contoured wedding band. Therefore, we made the base of the setting narrow to accomplish a smaller profile. The graceful curve of the prongs is complemented by the gentle upsweep of the shoulders of the ring. Because this ring was custom designed and hand crafted, each of the design elements was created to best match and complement the beauty of the diamonds and meet the client's wishes. We are currently making a matching diamond eternity band to
fit with this engagement ring. So check back later to see

 The inside of the ring is also finished as beautifully as the top. The inner surfaces are smooth and evenly finished. From here you can really see the dramatic taper of the prongs. A small square window has been created beneath each of the diamonds. When custom designing a fine quality jewel, we always pay attention to these small details. |

| This ring is hand crafted in platinum. The center diamond is an ideal-cut round brilliant, F color VS2 clarity, and weighs approximately 1 ½ carats. The seven round diamonds bead-set along each shoulder are graduated in size and measure 1.2 to 2.0 millimeters. This ring design can be created for gemstones of other sizes and shapes. | ||
